Our Story
Dinder Kitchen established in 2024, we bring the rich flavors of Sudan to Moorooka. Our journey began with a simple dream to share the taste of home with the Brisbane community. Growing up in Sudan, food was more than just a meal. It was about family, culture, and tradition. Every dish carried a story from the warm, soft Kisra flatbread to the comforting Tilapia fish, Bamia okra stew, to the sweet crunch of Zalabia. When we moved to Australia, we wanted to keep those traditions alive. Moorooka, with its vibrant multicultural community, became the perfect home for Sudanese cuisine in Brisbane.
