This stylish restaurant and patisserie encapsulate the essence of Italy while showcasing the best of Sydney’s gastronomic scene in elegant surrounds of banquette and booth seating, softly glowing lights and cabinets overflowing with sweet temptations. Try Bottega’s signature French toast with dark chocolate and mascarpone cream, berries and maple syrup to start the day; while later diners begin with grilled octopus, potato salad, parsley and toasted almond pesto. For the main, delve into pappardelle with veal ragu, crushed pistachio and Parmesan, or pizza topped with fennel sausage and shaved pecorino.
