60 ml whiskey (Jameson or other Irish whiskey)
4 dashes of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
1 bar spoon of granulated sugar
1 splash of sparkling water
Grapefruit slices to garnish
Dissolve the sugar with grapefruit juice and sparkling water in a cocktail mixer, then add the whiskey and fill up with ice and stir well. Strain the mixture into a whiskey glass and garnish with the grapefruit slices.
For a more sour drink, swap the grapefruit for lemon, for a sweeter drink, swap the sparkling water for grapefruit soft drink or lemonade.
