Apres-Ski Apple


Ingredients

1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar
6 small bitter apples
4 Tbs gomme syrup
3 cups white wine
1 1/2 cups apple cider
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Lemon peel

Method

Mix cinnamon and sugar in a bowl.

Coat apples in gomme syrup then roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.

Bake the apples at 190 C for 10-15 minutes.

Mix the white wine, apple cider, nutmeg and lemon peel in a saucepan and heat slowly for at least 15 minutes. Do not boil.

Serve in stemmed mug garnished with a baked apple.
