Expect menus customised for each occasion, with plates such as seared King salmon lettuce cups, crispy onions, iceberg, carrot and fennel slaw; followed by slow-cooked Spring lamb, grilled asparagus, feta, spiced almonds, braised carrots and gravy.

After working in the hospitality industry for 10 years & running two of Newcastle's busiest cafe/restaurants I decided to develop a company that would allow me to combine my passion for cooking & all things food related with my love of adventure, travel & the outdoors.
Whether it be a corporate business function or a camping trip with a few mates, The Wilderness Chef team can cater your wedding, workshop, feast, elopement, engagement, private dining experience or weekend away for any number of guests.
We have previously catered in locations as epic as The Blue Mountains, on the snow covered peaks of Mt Hotham, remote Western Australia, Port Douglas, Tasmania & Queenstown (NZ)
