Bruny Island Cheese Company is an artisan cheese maker in southern Tasmania, owned and operated by Nick Haddow. Our cheeses are all made and matured using traditional techniques and are some of the finest artisan cheeses made in Australia. You are welcome to come in for a cheese tasting or stay and indulge in a cup of coffee or freshly baked bread or cheesemakers platter.

7 days a week 10am - 5pm Summer, 11 - 4 pm Winter
Having been previously disappointed by a visit to Ashgrove, I wondered if I should take the extra effort to travel to Bruny to visit this cheese manufacturer, I am so!! pleased that I did. My faith in Tasmanian cheeses was instantly restored. Very expensive, but fantastic!!!
