This is a Beautiful Restaurant. The New Decor lifts the Ambience to a Smart yet Relaxing level. The food was Delicious . To start with went with a selection of items from the small plates, the dishes selected by the Head Chef it is a great way to start giving us a a wonderful variety of what this talented Chef is capable of. Our Main courses again Excellent. We will be looking forward to a return visit very soon.

Four food-loving women went to Assaggio a few weeks ago. Every single mouthful was delicious, the wine list is excellent and the attention, but not intrusive, service was a delight. I had no idea that polenta could taste so great (having failed dismally myself at an attempt to cook it). It is well-priced, not inexpensive of course, but definitely worth the price. We spent about $100 each for 2 courses each and two shared desserts and more wine than we probably should have had!

This is one of my all time favourite restaurants for it's amazing ability to make you feel like you have walked into the arms of your long lost Italian family - even when you are not Italian. The host will greet you as if you are the most important person in the world and that he is personally overjoyed to see you. The food is upscale, delicious, interesting but not mad, nourishing, sensual, rich Italian food, beautifully but not fussily presented. A seperate gluten-free menu is available. The decor is as comforting as the hosts and the food. The service impeccable. You will have a good time here and eat like Italian royalty.

This Restaurant surprises me every visit, after Dining there quite recently, I was unexpectedly invited for Dinner last Saturday evening, the words I will use are Consistently very , very good. A true Delight. Great Wine List!
