About Samson's Paddock
On Glyde Street in Mosman Park, Samson’s Paddock is a cosy local gem steeped in history and rustic charm. Named after early settler Lionel Samson, who farmed the land in the 1830s, the site has long been a gathering place—once a watering stop for travellers, now a beloved bar and dining destination. Today, seasonal share plates take centre stage, complemented by an extensive whisky, wine and beer list. In winter, settle by one of three crackling fireplaces; in warmer months, bask in the sun across the two-tiered alfresco space. Relaxed, welcoming and full of character, Samson’s Paddock is made for lingering lunches, intimate dinners and casual drinks with friends.
