Brisbane Botanic Gardens Overview

Queensland's premier subtropical gardens, the Brisbane Botanic Gardens is a lush paradise covering 52 hectares. Situated on Mount Coo-tha Road, a short journey from the city centre, the Brisbane Botanic Gardens offers visitors a journey through the themed sections of vibrant native and international plants, from the native Australian landscapes to the tranquil Bonsai House containing over 100 plants. Contrasting to the gardens Arid Zone and Cactus House, the tropical display dome is an enclosure of exotic, rare and fragile plants from the moist tropics. When visiting the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, be sure to take a trip through the fragrant plants and herb garden.
