Nestled on the first floor of Sydney’s iconic The Lord Hotel, this restaurant combines convict-quarried sandstone, oak barrels and hanging oil lamps with contemporary touches to create a relaxing ambiance where diners can sip on a glass of red and escape the city hustle. Kick off a taste journey with an entrée of baked brown onion, stuffed with goats cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and pine nuts, or perhaps Nepalese seafood momo with tomato confit. Then be tempted by slow braised spiced lamb shanks with crushed minted pea hummus, or chargrilled sirloin with Café de Paris butter creamy mash, making sure to leave room for a decadent dessert such as chocolate fondant.
