Fantastic wines, views and staff
My partner and I visited Ernest Hill Wines recently as we had been recommended by friends and had read some great reviews. Consequently, we went in with high expectations and we were not disappointed. The Cellar Door is quaint and has a rustic vibe but what we liked the best was that we were able to take a seat and have the same staff member come back to the barrel we were sitting around to pour delicious, after delicious wine. We ended up blowing our budget for the weekend at our first stop and we could not have been happier about it. I would highly recommend that everyone stops in while visiting the Hunter Valley.
Beautiful wines in a lovely, relaxed setting. The staff know what they're talking about and are more than happy to explain the details of wine making if you wish to know. There is nothing showy about Ernest hill, just great wines with a nice family touch. Always our first stop in the Hunter!
