Best Known For
King trout, cured in tiger’s milk, tomato, cucumber, avocado and fried rice paper.
A fusion of Asian tapas finds a home in Castlecrag at Yang and Co restaurant, located along Edinburgh Road. A trendy interior is warmed by the glow of exposed drop lights and features a wall-sized smiling portrait in matte colours, drawing in locals with the smell of aromatic dishes, steamed dumplings and hissing meat as it sizzles. A harmony of cultures sees bold flavours burst from the menu, paired with produce of local farmers and artisan producers. The vibrant vibe is matched by equally zesty small plates of Xinjiang spicy cumin lamb ribs, watercress and pear salad with nahm pla dressing; or roti with chilli caramel pork belly and kimchi. Those with larger appetites may opt to sample blue eye trevalla fillet, steamed with ginger, shallot, mushroom soy and Sichuan green peppercorn oil.
