About The Schoolhouse Restaurant
Find seasonal inspiration on every plate at The Schoolhouse Restaurant on Byng Street in Orange. Located in The Union Bank building and named to showcase the rich history as the birthplace of Kinross Wolaroi School, this elegant restaurant has a cool and classy colour palette, dark wooden table settings and walls adorned with eye-catching artwork. Arched windows, Edison bulb lighting and blue velvet seats invite lingering over dinner with a special someone, dining on starters like beef tartare, katsuobushi, typhoon shelter and crisps; before mains like sirloin steak with miso bagna cauda and sides of truffled potato purée, broccolini, smoked sesame and togarashi. Make sure to leave room for a dessert of chocolate fondant, allspice cream, date and coconut, enjoyed with a glass of bubbles.
