About The Q Train
The Q Train on Station Street in Drysdale is a standout experience - a fine dining restaurant aboard a restored heritage train that journeys along the Bellarine Railway between Drysdale and Queenscliff. Passing through rolling hills, olive groves and Swan Bay, guests enjoy a leisurely three-hour return trip featuring a refined five-course degustation menu complemented by local wines, beer, cider, cocktails and mocktails. Expect starters like goats’ cheese arancini, roasted tomato and native bush basil sauce; before Korean-inspired braised beef with caramelised kimchi and mains like sous-vide beetroot-cured salmon, celeriac pomme purée, braised zucchini and beurre noisette. For an indulgent finish, delve into rich chocolate and potato steamed pudding, golden rosella custard and raspberries.

There are two dining options available onboard The Q Train. Social dining is available in Q Class on tables of two, four or six. Enjoy their seasonal degustation, prepared in the onboard kitchen, with the opportunity to purchase drinks from the local drinks menu.
For a decadent inclusive experience, The First Class wine and dine option is unmissable. Seated in your own private compartment, with a butler to guide you through the local wines the team have paired with your meal. For couples and groups up to ten, First Class creates a unique atmosphere perfect for a special occasion.

The Q Train offers a number of function options. We have two Q Class Social Dining Carriages - one seats 24 and one seats 42. These can be privately hired allowing for decorations and customisation. What a fantastic experience. I tried The Q Train for the first time on Friday night and it was amazing. The fine dining degustation was just fabulous. Awesome staff and the local boutique beers were great! I will be back!
