Embracing the simple and welcoming concept of food, drink and community, The Glenelg Public House is a destination-worthy venue in Mermaid Beach. Located on the corner of Glenelg Avenue and Gold Coast Highway, soak up the sun at alfresco picnic tables or wander inside where a trendy industrial fit-out of polished concrete, worn brick and the warm glow of pendent globes, creates a chilled-out vibe ideal for the GC lifestyle. With a steak-focused menu using the world's best beef grown right in their own backyard, share a main such as tomahawk Wagyu, served with two sides and sauces. Those with lighter tastes may opt for grilled red emperor, potato purée and salsa verde, or chicken schnitzel, herb slaw and caper butter. Finish with a dessert of Rocky Road brownie and ice cream.
