"Bistro Gitan is a smokin' hot addition to the traditionally conservative South Yarra dining scene. The mustard encrusted spatchcock was sublime, the ranger valley beef was superb with a side of grilled witlof, asparagus and blue cheese. Comprehensive European and Australasian wine list. Very funky building, great ambience and staff who know their stuff. Just opened for 7 weeks, this place is destined to become a local eating icon."
