Our family loves to relax, celebrate & eat together without pomp.
The Farmhouse has become a stand out favourite, for several key reasons.
We truly love the simplicity of a quality set menu, there's no fussing, pondering & interrupted conversation or awkward miss heard / forgetfull ordering around the table here. We sit, relax and get into our family catch up, as tasty dishes coupled with charming attention to minute detail delights us. Friendly table service is unobtrusive, yet answers to questions are thoughtfully given, we are always comfortable here.
My family like a tipple & are always pleased with their choice, as a diabetic I like to sit on sparkling water, as the deserts are never overly sweet, the serving sized to perfection, plus there is always a two fold offering for each of us, which are charmingly served & paired to compliment the other.
The new diners can expect a skillfully constructed four course meal where each dish prepares the pallet for the next course. I am sure I'm not alone when I say, this result is due to passion, imaginationive flair, good taste, excellent planning & culinary skill.

On departure we rejoin the normal hum drum & marvel when we notice we were there around 3 hours, yet at no time, did we feel wanting. The pace is utterly perfect & we always leave satisfied & relaxed,
My all time fav is the Roast Chicken, with Autumn approaching, I will look forward to an April gathering.
