About The Brotherhood Yiros and Grill

For authentic Greek street food hidden in the back alleys of Seddon, head to The Brotherhood Yiros and Grill on Buckley Street. Growing up in a big Greek family in Melbourne with most celebrations held around a spit in the backyard, two brothers decided to share their recipes and hospitality with the neighbourhood they grew up in. From the monochromatic murals on the outside of the building to the hole-in-the-wall vibe of the interior, this restaurant serves up the freshest ingredients as well as cooking everything from scratch, including their own pita. Wrap your hands around a chicken yiros, cooked over coals, wrapped in pita, secret recipe tzatziki, tomato, onion and chips – or chow down on a crispy and oozy spinach and cheese pie. Don’t go past loukoumades to appease dessert cravings.
