Nestled in the iconic old Post Office overlooking picturesque Cave Gardens, this classic café welcomes travellers and locals alike into a spacious dining room warmed by sandstone surrounds and wooden tables. Expect Mod Oz dishes featuring fresh local produce, straight from the open kitchen to your table; think breakfast offerings like smoked salmon on pan-fried zucchini fritters, with wild rocket, lemon and dill mascarpone. The lunch crowd enjoys a glass of Chardonnay with a slice of garlic prawn pizza, topped by garlic yoghurt, cheese, tomato and spring onions; while evening diners are catered for with choices from pasta and risotto to steaks and stir-fries.

Great coffee. The food has improved in recent times and is excellent. Unfortunately limited choice for coeliacs but some good options. Lots of hard surfaces so very noisy so not for the hard of hearing
