Due to reasons beyond my Control covid19. I have not been able to Visit more often, But when I do Its like home on the range with the best Steaks and cooked to perfection.
Good old fashioned service. Great steaks.
Slightly old fashioned, rural USA dining experience, lighting too high, decor 1980s cowboy (bare brick walls, hard wood floors, pot plants, framed prints) but the food is excellent and service well above the expected in a regional town. Good local wine list at reasonable prices. Always popular always reliable. Highly recommended!

Happened across the steakhouse when we arrived last minute in Albany, tired and hungry! Did we hit the jackpot! Service was prompt and polite, the menu has plenty of options to suit GF, DF VEG, LI and just the genuinely hungry! I had a sizzle chicken pepperata and my husband had a steak …cooked perfectly and believe me he’s hard to please when it comes to his steak. The veggie/salad option was fresh with a bit of flair thrown in and the potatoes were excellent all ways. We lived it so much we shouted our friends for dinner the next time we swept through Albany, honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else now!

Rustlers Steak house has always had amazing food and service. I have been going to rustlers for many years now and have always been looked after and never left hungry.
Drool worthy
My husband and I share plates so one of us orders the drool worthy ribs and the other a steak or the special of the day. I adore how the ribs are falling apart (cooked in their own juices to accentuate the natural flavours) and I can control how much sauce I put on them. The steak is always cooked to our liking and not full of gristle like other places we have tried.
After the meal we usually share a dessert but struggle to pick just one. Apart from being incredibly delectable, it's a struggle as they are constantly changing so we spend a while debating which one has enticed us the most.
The staff are always friendly and the bar creates excellent cocktails aswell as stocking local wines.
Keep up the fantastic job and we are looking forward to our next visit.

We could not fault our dinners in any way. It was perfect in all aspects. We were in Albany for a week, wished we had gone there first Night in Albany . We would have gone to Rustlers more often. Definitely will visit Rustlers on our next visit to Albany.
