About Restaurant Nook
For a sustainable, locally sourced indulgent dining experience, head to Restaurant Nook on Great Western Highway in Blaxland. This romantic Blue Mountains restaurant exudes a moody vibe of candlelit tables, wooden wine racks and plush velvet banquette seating, ideal for finding a secluded nook for that perfect date night. Expect tempting small plates like charcoal-grilled King prawns, XO butter and ginger, or confit lamb shoulder, green tomato and pickled cucumber; before larger offerings such as pork belly, chicharron, black lip mussels, chorizo and silverbeet. The inner carnivore is satisfied with pasture-raised eye fillet, with sides of baby potatoes, broccolini, carrots, house cultured mustard and port jus; finishing divinely with chocolate tart, sour cherry and vanilla bean ice cream.

Hidden Gem-exceptional dining experience
We have visited Nook many times now for their dinner experience and ordered the 12 course degustation menu with accompanying wines. Nook does an exceptional job changing their menus each month to take advantage of seasonal produce. From the moment we stepped inside the door of this restaurant, we are greeted with excellent customer service. Throughout the evening, the service was outstanding, the waitresses were knowledgeable, for whom nothing was too much trouble. The food was exceptional - both in originality, presentation and taste. The food was well paired with the wines. We look forward to the monthly menu changes and return for another great culinary experience.
