Taking inspiration from the beauty and rugged landscapes of the Blue Mountains and past cultures, Arrana on Macquarie Road in Springwood weaves native ingredients and stories into its menus. Step into a warm space, where the lighting is soft and the champagne abundant, ideal for a romantic fine dining experience and ponder two degustation-style seasonal menus with wine pairing options. Think starters like spanner crab, coconut, dulse, finger lime, ginger and squid ink, or carrot, leek, orange, miso, garlic, thyme and quandong; before larger plates of pork jowl, scallop, fennel, pear and aniseed myrtle, best enjoyed with a glass of Ross Hill Pinnacle Series Pinot Gris. My husband and I recently celebrated a special occasion at Arrana. Superb evening from the greeting at the door to the final wave goodbye. The food was outstanding and the service friendly and professional. We will certainly be back.

Everything from arrival to departure was exceptional. Such a young, innovative exciting chef! Food and wine pairings perfect! I love the Waygu beef rib but the spanner crab was my favourite! Deserving of recognition for perfection!
