Tucked away just outside of Mount Barker in the Adelaide Hills - in Totness - Prancing Pony Brewery is a hidden gem with a bold character. Ideal not just for Craft Beer lovers, Prancing Pony Brewery offers a range of beverage experiences thanks to their collaboration with other small South Australian businesses - Emmalene Wines and The Still Co.

Stepping into the Brewery Restaurant, one is greeted with an eclectic and rustic charm. Each corner of the room highlighting a different piece of the Prancing Pony's long and varied story. The workbenches-turned-tables mixed in with old church furniture and custom pieces give a wild yet cosy feel to the place. A Wood-fire pizza oven, complimented with a new modern bistro styled kitchenette show the range of fresh food offerings made in house that are available. The award winning brewery sits just beyond the restaurant, so during the week one can watch the Pony Crew working on the next batches of brew only meters away. The spacious beer garden is as vibrant and characterful as the interior, and welcomes families and well behaved fur-children. (They might even be lucky enough to get a brewery made treat too!)

16 taps will greet patrons at the bar, all made in house. Prancing Pony Brewery is known for making long-flavoured, bold, big beers - Notably the signature India Red Ale - having won the Supreme Beer Award in 2016 at the London International Beer Awards. However, don't be shy, again there are plenty of options for everyone. With many of the tap options also used in other offerings available for purchase - sauces, baked treats, etc. The whole Pony Menu celebrates local ingredients and freshly made brewery food. The chicken wings and wood fire pizzas are the two staple items the Pony is known for, so treat yourself and give them a try.
