Nestled within the Tasmanian Technopark on Innovation Drive in Dowsing Point, Mouth Waters Café is a beloved local gem overlooking Prince of Wales Bay. Family-owned and operated for more than 19 years, the café is helmed by Chef Alex Waters, whose daily specials showcase a diverse culinary repertoire with a focus on Asian fusion cuisine. Diners can enjoy their meals on the outdoor deck, taking in serene water views as they peruse an all-day breakfast menu featuring hearty options like Mick’s Big Breakfast and pancakes topped with banana and maple syrup. Lunch offerings include fresh salads, wraps and the popular battered fish with crispy pink eye potatoes; perhaps a Cajun chicken burger hits the mark, with bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, Spanish onion, BBQ sauce and aioli.
