Absolutely fantastic experience at Masala Cove Masala Cove is a hidden gem and easily one of the best Indian restaurants in Northern Beaches Sydney. The food tastes authentic and the menu has great vegetarian and seafood options. The Goan fish curry and lamb biryani were outstanding. We ordered Indian takeaway in Avalon Beach and everything was perfectly cooked. Definitely our go-to spot for Indian food near Mona Vale and Newport.

Top Indian restaurants in Northern Beaches I’ve been exploring restaurants Northern Beaches Sydney for the past few months and Avalon Beach definitely has some of the most interesting spots Masala Cove being one of them. Masala Cove is easily the best Indian restaurant in Avalon Beach. The flavours are incredibly authentic and the menu has so many great options. Their butter chicken is one of the best in Northern Beaches, perfectly creamy and rich. We ordered Indian takeaway in Avalon and everything was packed well and still hot when we got home. If you’re looking for authentic Indian food in Northern Beaches, Masala Cove is definitely worth visiting. Anyone searching for top restaurants Northern Beaches should also check the dining scene in Avalon village because it’s quickly becoming one of the most talked-about Northern Beaches dinner spots.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent We have been looking forward to the new restaurant opening and were delighted. The food was delicious and the service was excellent with the staff going out of their way for us. One of our guests has food allergies and they worked well with us to determine the best options for him. The decor inside is beautiful and you can't beat the location in Avalon. We had several curries, naan, papadum, a few rice dishes and they were all of really good quality. My companions were meat eaters so I didn't try any of the vegetarian dishes, but I was really impressed that they had such an amazing selection of vegetarian options that I will try next time. I'm very impressed with Masala Cove. We will be back.

Finally, something different on the Northern Beaches Loved my experience at Masala Cove! The restaurant brings a totally new flavour to the area — bold Indian spices but done in a clean, modern way. We tried the Coconut Curry Barramundi and the Masala Fries, and both were outstanding. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the recipes well-thought-out.
The staff were super helpful with recommendations, and the ambience is cosy yet stylish. It’s one of those places where you end up ordering “just one more dish.” Highly recommend for date nights or catching up with friends.
