Perched on the edge of Sydney’s sparkling harbour overlooking Woolloomooloo Wharf is Manta, a contemporary seafood restaurant. This decade-old icon is located on one of Sydney’s best dining strips with a sunny alfresco area offering breath-taking harbour and skyline views to create memorable experiences. Executive Chef Daniel Hughes combines a love of showcasing great Australian produce and sustainable fresh seafood to make an exciting menu of modern cuisine. Start with jasmine tea house smoked alpine salmon, yuzu aioli and baby herbs, before delving into Alaskan King crab claws and midsection, grape tomatoes, chilli, basil, Bottarga butter, lemon, garlic, herbs and black pepper. Finish with a decadent dessert of pistachio and polenta cake, chamomile poached mandarin and natural yoghurt.

Full time sommelier,Christen Dennier, has a wealth of experience and has worked in some of the world's finest international restaurants. Manta's wine list includes a selection of current and aged wines; from well-known favourites to more obscure boutique choices.
