Contemporary Italian
La Sosta is as close to the real deal as you can get. The staff are either all Italian or at the very least speak it. It’s like someone picked the place up from somewhere in Italy and plonked it right down here in little ol’ Fremantle. The Chef/Owner’s name is Matteo and the night I went he came to my table personally to see if everything was ok - not that he needed to - and when I told him that my date and I were engaged, long story short turns out that they do receptions as well!

La Sosta is for sure the Best Italian Restaurant in Perth/WA.
At La Sosta you can find an authentic Italian cuisine, mostly with dishes from Tuscany (where the owner Matteo ) come from. The environment is warm and casual, the products used are great and the dishes are "simple" as you can find in Italy ( I'm Italian from Lucca). Prices are also lower than the average of the same competitors in Perth, not considering that there is no restaurant that offers this kind of traditional Italian cuisine in Perth. I lived in Sydney for 6 years and I can say that La Sosta is an Italian restaurant that could easily be flagged as a Top Restaurant also in a big city like Sydney or Melbourne!!!
