A Must When In Surfers
What a little beaut of a Restaurant . Knox is everything Surfers Paradise has been lacking. It is uplifting & buzzing with fresh energy. Being a fan of tapas we decided to try out their dinner menu. What I enjoyed most about their dishes, is they have the right amount of spice/flavour without over powering the palette. They were also light without feeling like you need to have a nap just to digest your meal. I don't know about most of you but I have found the service to be really sub par on the coast. Wait staff look disinterested or you are left standing at the entrance with no one in sight, you just don't feel the love. I get the impression the staff at Knox have experienced this too because their service is the exact opposite. I noticed patrons being attended to within seconds of arriving. The wait staff were all super friendly & welcoming with extensive knowledge of the menu (oh so refreshing) Did someone mention cocktails? If you are a cocktail fan like me you must head to the bar & have a chat to their friendly barman Jason. Let him know the flavours/liquors you enjoy & he will create a masterpiece for you. Or if you love your beer they have Stone & Wood Pacific Ale on tap (winning) Note: Ask about their drinks/meals served in a fresh coconut
