I caught up with friends when I was passing through Coffs Harbour last week and they suggested we have to dine at The Flooded Gums as they see it as Coffs Harbours best – they were spot on. We were blown away with the flavours that are on the plate combined with the friendly and knowledgeable service. It definitely deserves 1 ‘Chefs Hat’
A very ordinary restaurant experience. We went for lunch based on their 1 hat award and were very disappointed with the food and service considering the price. I cannot understand how this restaurant receives a top rating. There are much better restaurants nearby such as 2 Oak Street in Bellingen, definitely worthy of their 2 hats, and Macauleys in Coffs Harbour.
