Esca Bimbadgen
About Esca Bimbadgen
A pioneer of fine dining in the Hunter Valley, Esca Bimbadgen on McDonalds Road in Pokolbin exemplifies the definition of a winery restaurant. Named for the indigenous phrase meaning ‘place of good view', Bimbadgen's visionary architecture, including the striking bell tower, complement the natural landscape capturing stunning views from every vantage point. From a menu showcasing local produce on the vineyard's doorstep, expect Mod Oz dishes with a French twist as seen in entrees like hand cut beef tartare, truffle mayonnaise, shallots, capers, soft boiled quail egg and bread chips. Perhaps smoked Angus fillet, roasted Kipfler potatoes, pickled shallots, chimichurri and cherry tomatoes tempts for a main; before indulging in mulled wine poached pear with sorbet, vanilla and pepper mud cake.

Michelle - what a beautiful waitress!
The food was amazing! Really exquisite and fine dining. Michelle our waitress made our day - she knew exactly what to say and do and went the extra distance to ensure our lunch was a memorable and enjoyable experience. Thank-you XX
While the food and wine was amazing, it was Escas service that impressed me most! Highly recommended!!!
