About D.Vino
Tucked away on Jurgens Street in Woolloongabba is where you’ll find D.Vino Bistro & Vinoteca, an uber romantic Brisbane dining spot. D.Vino’s all-black interiors are dotted with vintage Italian artwork, rustic wooden accents and plenty of wine bottles, making it feel like a true hidden gem. Don’t be fooled by the size, because the Italian flavours coming out of the kitchen here are anything but small and the wine list is some 400 bottles strong. Part restaurant, part wine bar, you can opt to drop in for a few glasses and snacks or stay all night with a truly Italian flavour to the degustation menu. Think starters like beef tartare with provolone and pizzetta fritta, before devouring mains such as sous vide pork, Dijon mustard, parsnip cream, char-grilled artichokes and crispy onions.
A few words from D.Vino
My Name is Danilo and I'm a WSET and AIS certified sommelier from Italy. I've spent over fifteen years learning about wine from all around the world. I'm now pleased to share my knowledge, (and more importantly - wines!), with all of you.
My first operation is Arcade Wine, in Ashgrove, is an enoteca, or 'wine repository' - a small bar boasting an impressive selection of quality wines with tapas to match, been rated one of the best top 20 wine bar in Brisbane 2023.
Now, I'm pleased to introduce to all of you
D.Vino Bistro & Vinoteca,
an intimate 40-seater.
Drawing inspiration from European hospitality (particularly the wine bars and restaurant of Piedmont in northern Italy), D.Vino's menu will feature tapas-style shares as well as innovative a la carte options and Degustation menu with a focus on seafood and nods towards Italian and French cuisine.
Looking forward to seeing you all.
Good Food, Outstanding Wines and Premium Service.
