This is another long time favourite dining spot in Coolum. Mediterranean influenced meals with an Australian twist. Terrific menu which includes gourmet pizza's and pasta's. It has great atmosphere and a very good bar. I think Castro's could use more of a Havana influence and 'Fidel' with the menu. The shaved leg ham pizza could be called 'The Bay of Pigs'. The potato skins could be shaped and called the 'Dic-tator'. Meats could be cut into squares or shaped like missiles causing a 'Cuban Crisis'. Some meals could be served using only on the left side of a plate. If they do all that they who know's - they could end up on 'My Kitchen Raul's' Ratings out of 100 Variation of menu: 92 Quality of produce: 85 Service: 88 Cleanliness: 88 Ambiance: 90 Dollar for value: 85
Best duck i've had in a long time, spicy pawns lovely but rice a little bland, overall 9/10! We will be returning very soon :)
Castros was busy on this Friday night wait staff were great,food was ok,price high.
Great food and great atmosphere. Come here often to have a top dinner for good value. Really good size meals aswell.

Dinned @ your Restaurant last night for the 1st time & thought a positive comment was needed towards the Waiter - (I hate that word)!F&B Attendant, also don't like that word! lets say "Table Manager" he was very good @ looking after us, we were booked under Tammy Robbins.
