Beautiful food and location
After a winding forest drive, Blackwood Ridge stuns on arrival. The gardens are truly spectacular and inspiring as you meander down to the Garden Room Restaurant.
The 4 course meal is delicately and creatively presented using produce from the farm and kitchen gardens. Such amazing combinations of taste, colour and texture. The Bergamot and Calvados Meringue was a mouthwatering finale of the Summer Harvest menu. The wine list is extensive, well priced and local options were great to see there. Thanks for the warm welcome on arrival and for the experience of wandering around your incredible gardens. A perfect day out.
Amazing seasonal food and presentation was just stunning
We had the most amazing experience with a 4 course set menu. Each dish was carefully crafted with so much attention to detail and to the presentation. Fantastic wine list with plenty of local options. The gardens are so worth a meander after the food experience as well. Absolutely amazing, worth the trip to Blackwood for this alone!
Delicious food set in a stunning garden.
A destination well worth the trip. Set in a forest clearing, the restaurant is set in tranquil gardens, that make for a lovely walk after a beautiful 4 course meal. Every dish looks and tastes like the garden on a plate. A wonderful experience.
