Not what I was expecting
Was a little underwelmed by Bennalong. A multi award winning restaurant that I was so hoping to get some ideas and inspiration from for my own business on the coast yet it didnt happen. We didn’t get table checked to see if everything was ok until plates were being cleared which was a little strange for a 2 hatted restaurant. On booking I let them know it was a double celebration my wife’s birthday and our first anniversary. The lady on the phone said she made a note of it and I informed the people that seated us. So to my surprise the couple of tables around us who weee celebrating birthdays also were given a nice littl complementary cupcake with a candle. I found it odd we were not table checked while we were there either When your spending $290 right from the start I’d expect better service to be honest
