Great food and most importantly- lots of it ! We Love this hidden gem. Try the homemade pistachio ice cream also !
A group of us (22 ladies) had a fantastic lunch at Athenia's restaurant. Although we had to wait a while (one of the chef's didn't turn up), we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals - all served piping hot and not left under a 'heat lamp'. I had the Moussaka and it was the best I've ever tasted and also at a reasonable price of $22. All of the ladies said that they would highly recommend this restaurant and would dine at Athenia's again. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the surroundings were very clean.
Best Greek restaurant around!! Be warned though, if you get the Mezze Platter for 2, be hungry, it's huge!! Can't fault this place at all!!
Excellent food and service
Being from Melbourne, we have been spoilt with great authentic Greek food. When we moved here, being Foodies, we tried many restaurants, and just about every Greek Restaurant on the coast and in the west end, only to be disappointed every time [note: forget about Georges Paragon....way over rated].....that was until a few weeks ago, when we tried this little gem.....
The food was great......
We had the Mezze menu, and the portions were huge.....
Anyone who loves great, authentic greek food, has to try this little Gem....
There is hope for the Gold Coast after all.....
I had a wonderful set menu of Greek cuisine with a large group of friends. The staff and owner of the restuarant were very attentive and we all had a great meal.
