You will not find better authentic Italian cuisine, or friendlier service. This restaurant is truly special!
We spontaneously decided to eat at Artimino's on a Sunday night & were pleasantly surprised. The setting was casual and warm as was the service. There looked to be a new staff member on the night so service was not perfect - waited a long time before drinks were served, a table arriving after us were served their meals before we were & the robust voice of a chef-under-pressure made for some awkward moments. Throughout the night, we did notice a steady flow of customers ordering take-away pizza and pasta which we thought was a very positive sign. We ordered the calamari and pizza bread to share as an entree - admittedly small portions for the price, but fresh & cooked to perfection. For the mains we ordered the seafood linguine, an impressive 800G T-Bone steak and Saltimbucco. Proportions were very generous - we loved that all meals were served on large plates which encouraged sharing. Rustic, authentic flavours - Simply good food. Will definitely return!
