When in Curlewis, take a day to recharge and escape to the lush, manicured grounds of Curlewis Gold Club set along Portarlington Road. Refuel with friends after a game of golf in the retro inspired clubhouse which overlooks the golf course, offering a relaxed space styled with comfortable armchairs, timber tables and bronzed down lighting. Head Chef Tara Thyer has created a modern menu of daily bistro lunch favourites and intimate dinners each Friday and Saturday night. Try tasty dishes like the crispy pork belly salad with fennel, cucumber, mint, pistachios and an orange saffron dressing or perhaps the panko crumbed calamari served with aioli and chips. For those in need of a night off from cooking this weekend, opt for Bellarine lamb rump with crispy chat potatoes and red wine jus.
