The best food I ever eat!!! We have a very good time in Busbys. The 2 entrees are perfect!! It's my first time to eat snails and it's great!! My salmon and my friend's beef are also amazing, we will definitely come more frequently!!
Don't understand why there weren't more patrons. Great place, great food and excellent service.
Delicious main and delicious dessert, cleared my plate. A bit on the pricey side but it's worth it. Beautiful setting, very elegant but comfortable place, where you don't feel out of place just in jeans but wouldn't be overdressed in a suit either. Thank you to Wilson who made my girl and I feel like absolute royalty!

Excellent food, fantastic service, great value for money, has everything. We've been going for a while now, recommended it to friends who all thought it was excellent. Never misses a beat, especially with Wilson as the Maitre'd. Seriously cannot recommend this goldmine any more, and we're pretty seasoned diners.
We have dined at Busbys Restaurant and Bar many times, which speaks for itself, as the service is first class, the menu extensive and the meals are always perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. There is a wide range of entrees and desserts all served in a comfortable bistro with pleasant surroundings.
Our experience at Busby's was up there with some of the best restaurants in Melbourne.
It started with Wilson the maître d's greeting us.
His attention to detail was second to none when introducing the nightly specials and suggesting an appropriate bottle of wine to accompany our mains. He seems to be very knowledgeable in their wine list.
We started with the Japanese scallops which the kitchen presented beautifully on a succulent piece of pork belly with ample caviar.
The generous serving of Frenched lamb rack was cooked to perfection as requested (medium) My wife had the rib eye which was also cooked to her liking and she enjoyed immensely.
We also shared the cheese platter of Danish blue and King Island brie which was freshly presented.
The entire dining experience was such a delight to the extent of making a booking the following week.
I was most surprised when a client took me to Busby's for dinner.
We were warmly welcomed and seated next to the gas log fire.
The entree of squid ink arancini was delicious. And my main of beef bourguignon was nicely presented full of flavour and the vegetables crisp.
The floor manager was very attentive.
Would highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I love Busbys and honestly go there weekly! The head waiter Wilson is charming and always gives excellent service; the younger staff are fun and nice too.
The menu is varied (although I always just get the same cut of steak each week - best in Victoria, easily)- my wife is usually more adventurous and tries different dishes ;)
I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in the south east. We've never stayed at the adjacent hotel, but we should try it some time!
Informal but elegant, Busbys Restaurant & Bar indulges all who visit their Nepean Highway establishment in both taste and comfort. Diners are found unwinding beside a warm fireplace, glass of wine in hand, or mingling on an outdoor terrace enjoying sunny weather with a tranquil garden view to admire. Inspired by signature European tastes, a menu of sumptuous cuisine features high quality local ingredients in dishes such as finely chopped raw beef, quail egg, capers and shallots as well as Souffle au Fromage - goats cheese, rouquette, quinoa and raspberry vinaigrette followed with marinated pork cutlets, gratin dauphinois and Sauce Robert. Ask Busbys about their various function spaces for your next event or organise with friendly staff an afternoon of High Tea with delicate treats.
Pan seared Hokkaido scallops, chilli aioli, pork belly and almond. Black angus eye fillet steak with green peppercorn sauce and thick cut chips.
