Though smart in appearance, North and Eight’s vibe radiates a warm, casual energy with a crisp whitewash throughout giving the cafe a personality through sandy timbers, cool grey-blue tones and soft touches of green, with diners smiling from ear to ear as artistically presented dishes arrive at the table. Boutique roaster, Proud Mary coffee is on offer alongside a menu that flows with the seasons, providing creative dishes such as Korean fried chicken with open waffle and Sriracha mayonnaise, maple, mixed leaves, daikon and slaw as well as salt and pepper calamari with green papaya salad, mint and chilli.
Maple nut granola and passionfruit pannacotta with berries, poached pear and yoghurt. Crispy zucchini, sweet corn and quinoa fritters with poached egg, herbs, tahini yoghurt, avocado, jalapeno and lime salsa.
