Marron Cafe Overview

Boasting a marron farm, vineyard and cellar door, Marron Cafe on Harriet Road offers a complete gourmet lunch experience nestled in Kangaroo Island’s native bushland above Vivonne Bay. Feast on fresh fish from their own Marron Farm along with their range of bush tucker sauces made on site, while admiring the cafe’s native herb orchard. Sumptuous meals feature garden-grown herbs with lemon myrtle stealing the spotlight for seasonings, used in herbal tea infusions and inventive liqueurs. Mouth-watering dishes like the Marron’ara with tiger prawns, scallops and house honey chilli cherry tomato Napoli, topped with Andermel Marron and washed down with a glass of wine are sure to tempt, whilst those after a lighter meal may opt for the warm chicken and halloumi salad.

Best Known For

Poachers Platter for Two: while the platter is being prepared, enjoy a stunning fresh water smoked barramundi and wasabi dip with crackers followed by a selection of oven baked Andermel Marron, scallops, Szechuan spiced prawns, salt and pepper squid, warm herb and garlic ciabatta bread, seasonal salad dressed with our aniseed myrtle salad dressing, fresh fruit skewers and a taste of our Two Wheeler Creek creamy seafood dressing, lemon myrtle tartar and savoury honey and chilli sauce.
