Its a bit pricey but its all worth it! The service was good, they're nice peolple. The food didnt take too long to come out after odering. They're constantly asking if everything is ok and if there was anything else you needed.

A view overlooking the harbour as boats of all sizes sway and bob gently in their moorings and the sun glistens off the water is an ideal setting for delving into succulent creatures of the sea, while inside emanates the seaside location with crisp white walls, ocean themed art and polished timber décor. Relax out in an all-weather alfresco area with a glass of chilled wine or an icy beer and browse over the menu for tiered seafood platters and popular pastas featuring fresh, local produce. Opt for plates like the Port Stephens rock lobster natural with fresh fruit and dipping sauces or perhaps the seafood chowder with a side of Turkish bread.
MARINA-SIDE:The Rock Lobster Restaurant with magnificent bay views is located at d'Albora Marina, Nelson Bay close to the Tomaree National Park. VIEWS WITH SERVICE:Relax and enjoy the best water views in the bay from the all weather alfresco dining area, or air-conditioned restaurant. Service is outstandingly efficient and friendly, with waiters smoothly appearing to top up a glass or whisk away an empty plate. Whether it's a special occasion, wedding or just a causal or romantic lunch or dinner, the staff will ensure you have the ultimate dining experience. The Rock Lobster is operated by Robyn and Peter Bradbury and this friendly couple do their best to keep customers happy. SEAFOOD MENU & MORE:Quality seafood is a highlight of this local favourite. The oysters are sublime with a dressing of soy mirin and ginger dipping sauce. The Rock Lobsters famous hot and cold seafood platters are always a fantastic choice with fresh Morton Bay Bugs, King Prawns, Salt and Pepper Calamari and a host of other satisfying delights served with chips, fresh fruit and home made dipping sauces. If you're not a lover of seafood, the Confit Duck Maryland with vanilla bean potato puree, red braised cabbage and raspberry jus gras is a sure winner. Vegetarians are not forgotten and neither are dessert lovers - soft centred chocolate soufflé served with raspberry ice cream is superb.
Cold seafood platter: fresh blue swimmer crabs, bugs, King prawns and natural oysters served with smoked salmon, dipping sauces and a selection of fresh fruits.
