From the moment we got out of the car we knew we had found somewhere special to spend our anniversary - what a stunningly beautiful place! Simply amazing views in every direction. We were greeted by our hosts and shown around the property and then to our Cottage, which was beautiful, secluded and had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay - whether for a weekend or a month, absolutely everything was there. The fire was set and ready to go, candle provided around the huge spa, their own free range eggs in the fridge, with a bottle of champagne to congratulate us on our anniversary - a very nice touch. To say we enjoyed our stay would be an understatement. Everything was perfect ... even having Larry the big old horse sticking his head over the fence to say good morning was great! Tracy and Clive were great. Friendly, warm and very knowledge about the area and the best things to see and do. Helpful with booking restaurants, providing maps and so on .. and knew exactly when to vanish and not be seen again until we left. We talk about our stay often and if we ever get back to Australia and to Northern NSW, Hillcrest will definitely be top of our list of places we must stay again.
