Gosford RSL would like to welcome our new Executive Chef Trent Webber to our team. With the demand for high-quality food getting stronger and stronger on the Central Coast we went in search of an energetic, experienced and confident Exec Chef. We strongly believe Trent is the right man for the job.
Trent’s career spans across the country with stints in two hatted restaurants, with an impressive list of Hunter Valley establishments helping to craft Trent’s culinary creativity. This classically French-trained chef is a passionate paddock to plate practitioner with a proven nose to tail philosophy. Trent’s warm and gregarious nature flows through to his food with hints of his classical training infused with an individual style creating fresh and delicious menus with a focus on exceptional produce and delivery in Special Events, Café Kindle and Luminous Brasserie.
Trent’s time in Hatted restaurants saw him work with Finns Byron Bay and Rock Restaurant Pokolbin. The two restaurants were awarded several culinary awards during Trent’s time. Awards such as Best Restaurant outside of Sydney, Australia’s Best New Restaurant and Australia’s Best Seafood Restaurant to name a few.
Trent heads up the experienced Luminous Brasserie Kitchen brigade, who deliver an exceptional brasserie experience with seared steaks, fresh seafood, pasta and tempting sides. We are excited to see Trent’s signature dishes now making their way onto the menu.
Naming Marco Pierre-White as his biggest culinary hero, Trent made his way through some impressive kitchens on his way to Gosford RSL with lead roles in the renowned kitchens of Zebu Bar & Grill Rydges Port Macquarie, Locavore Dining, The Sebel Kirkton Park Hunter Valley, Emma’s of Lovedale, Brown Sugar, Wyndham Estate Wines, Rock Restaurant and Finns Restaurant. Trent’s philosophy of delicious, honest dishes can be seen menu wide … whether it is a fine butcher's cut steak seared on the grill, a smartly dressed local oyster, a succulent mud crab or that cheeky pork belly you just can’t resist.….the choice is yours.
