Pan-Asian share plates and lo-fi local wines are on the menu at Muni restaurant and wine bar on High Street in Willunga. This new hotspot is the brainchild of Taiwanese-born Chefs Mug Chen and Chia Wu along with Violette Flint; settle into moody surrounds of timber and concrete at the T-shaped bar and watch the action in the open kitchen, where flames, woks and hibachi grills are hard at work. Sample plates like Port Lincoln sardines, turnip and sudachi, or charred calamari and oyster mushrooms, best enjoyed with a glass of Adelaide Hills Savagnin Borachio; perhaps opt for the degustation menu and devour bluefin tuna, smoked tomato and kaffir lime. Larger plates may present like aged duck, taro, plum and liver parfait and Earl Grey, finishing indulgently with Tonka bean crème caramel.
