I went in search of Rooibos and I found: lots and lots of Rooibos! They have a lot of tea here and on their online tea shop, but I am caffeine-free, so I was looking for alternatives to tea. They have heaps of herbal teas and infusions: chamomile, spearmint and peppermint, lemongrass, herbal Chai as well as some fruit infusions, made with pure fruit and berries which I’d never seen.
I have never seen so many teapots in all my life, not to mention tea to put in them! The tea ladies in this little tea shop really care about tea. They have so many different kinds of loose leaf tea, plus a small range of teabags. You can buy their tea online, which is great as I’m from interstate. I had their Premium Earl Grey at Miss Marple’s Tea Rooms next door and it’s the best I’ve ever had. I went back and it was on special this month at half price – my lucky day!
I love green tea and this place has it all. A fantastic range of green teas including some hard-to-find premium traditional Chinese and Japanese green teas such as Sencha, China Gunpowder, Bancha and Gen Mai Cha. They also have white tea – not just Buddha’s Tears either, they have three kinds of Pai Mu Tan! They have also added Australian-grown Japanese-style green teas to their range. Very impressed.
they have very lovely display and a wide range of tea pots. don't buy anything if the older lady is at the counter. she scolded me when i asked her if they make coffee as well. scary customer service!
