The house was dirty, with spiders and dead bugs everywhere. The dishwasher didn't work and the freezer wouldn't close. With a house that sleeps 12 people a working dishwasher and at least one working fridge/freezer is required. Even though we were staying at a vineyard there where no complementary wines or even a welcome pack! After being sent an email that we could attend a winery tour they then turned around and said they wouldn't do it the weekend we stayed. Each bed only had two pillows. A guest house should be a home away from home - this was not! My partner and the 4 other couples that stayed that weekend all agreed Whispering Brooke left a lot to be desired.
