Giba Gunyah was a fantastic 'country' stay, complete with birds, cows and wide open spaces. The cottage is surrounded by a lovely flower and tree filled yard which is fenced to keep the cows out and your pet in. The cottage itself is lovely with a rustic fireplace for atmosphere (and warmth), country kitchen/dining table and a welcoming (though slightly small) bedroom. There are boardgames, books and DVDs to keep the whole family occupied when darkness falls. During the day you can read and dine outside, walk around the farm spotting wombats and wallabies or simply pet the cows. The hosts are welcoming and unobtrusive but will be on hand if you require help. Finally, the cottage provides a hearty breakfast basket of local eggs, home-baked bread, butter, jam, juice, tea, coffee, milk and cereals. Giba Gunyah is a fantastic, relaxing farm stay!
