The world’s oldest and top International Cheese and Dairy Awards 2026 held in Stafford, England, 24-25 June attracted over 4,500 entries. Long Paddock (The Mill, Castlemaine) took out the award for the best Australian cheese with its Banksia, a semi-ripe cheese, then a silver medal for their cheddar-style Granite, and bronze for the mild blue cheese, Bluestone. Guests at Fairbank have long had Long Paddock in their hamper. Congratulations to Long Paddock; long may they make great cheese!
