Fairbank House is situated in Maldon on a quiet street overlooking the railway station and the valley over to Mount Alexander. It offers every comfort and convenience for up to six guests using the best (and largest) of beds, feather or non-allergenic pillows, Egyptian cottons, mohair and alpaca throws, There's three bedrooms, a queen with full ensuite, a superking which can be split into separate beds with a walk in shower in the ensuite, and the third queen uses the main bath with separate shower. The house is wheelchair friendly.
Fairbank offers exemplary leisure and entertaining in its large safe landscaped gardens, al fresco dining, and plenty of spots around the house for following the sun around. Inside is your preferred ducted temperature. with an open fire if the nights are cool. The kitchen is large and well equipped, and the diningroom is suitably atmospheric, seating eight if you want to invite guests and cook up a storm, supplied from the excellent food shops in town. There's wifi and Showcase for movies and enertainment indoors.

Across the road from Fairbank is the Maldon Trail, which winds down from the Nuggettys to the north through the diggings and the Beehive Chimney to Anzac Hill to the south of town. We live on the side of a mountain, so go climb Tarrengower Tower for the best view in central Victoria - from Pyramid Hill to Macedon and from the Pyrenees to , er, Mount Alexander.
