We stumbled across this winery restaurant on a recent holiday in the great southern region. What a delight! The combination of friendly welcoming staff, lovely surroundings and an exciting menu selection resulted in a memorable experience. The entrees were particularly impressive, with a delicious tasting plate comprising 4 beautifully prepared and presented 'tastes'. Complex, flavoursome, delicious! Our choice of mains- potato and ricotta gnocchi and seared fillet of beef were equally delicious and satisfying. It was clear that chef Frederick Kirby was no ordinary chef. Here was food prepared with passion, for the enjoyment of the diner. We loved it, and were happy to linger over wine and coffee, while being pampered by the friendly and professional staff. Well done on your wonderful restaurant Jacqueline and Frederick- we'll highly recommend it!
