Take a stroll around stunning gardens with a courtyard, orchard, pond and rose gardens, before heading indoors to dine in rich ruby-coloured surrounds with white clothed tables, a crackling fire and parquet flooring. For lunch, perhaps opt for Snowy Mountains hot smoked trout, flaked over linguine pasta with a lemon cream sauce; while evening guests indulge in an ever-evolving three-course menu, with optional wine pairings.

Restaurant Vieux is a fine dining restaurant, located in the heart of Yass NSW. Situated in a 1920s French ballroom, Restaurant Vieux offers a gastronomic experience of pan-European foods, delivered by our resident chefs Sean and Tim. All of our ingredients, wherever possible, are locally sourced, ethically produced, or grown organically right here on our own property! With over 30 years of experience in the kitchens, our chefs always promise to provide you with a meal not to be forgotten!
With training in the art of silver service, our team is dedicated to bringing back what service should be. We strive every night to increase and improve our services to our guests, ensuring they have an incredible dining experience with us. With crisp table linen, the finest quality cutlery, Maxwell Williams plate ware and glassware, and exquisite food, matched only by the unique dining hall, complete with designs not found anywhere else!

This grand old home has witnessed many events over a century and a half, has seen a convict make good, a poor Englishman become a millionaire, a nurturing nest for many children and had been a haven for numerous distressed ex-servicemen. Throughout this time it has been supported by the people of Yass.
Now, once again, it is time to give back to the Yass community. This new restaurant will offer a place of relaxation and contentment in a ambiance that is reminiscent of the 1920s and 30s, when the home was at its peak.

Here at Linton Manor, we are capable of hosting a range of events and functions, as well as cater to almost every request of our guests! We offer a ballroom with a 60 square meter French sprung dance floor, as well as a 50 square meter carpeted area. We can cater for all functions from 20 - 100 guests!
